trans-Zeatin is a plant cytokinin, which plays an important role in cell growth, differentiation, and division. 

Trans-Zeatin inhibits UVB-induced MMP-1 expression, c-Jun activation and phosphorylation of ERK, JNK and p38 MAP kinases (MAPKs) dose-dependently.
