Tris-glycine-SDS running buffer is the most commonly used buffer for sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE) of proteins. It is usually used for both anode and cathode buffer. It is also used to block membranes with 5% non-fat dry milk for western blotting.

This product is a 5× concentrated solution, diluted to 1× working concentration before use: take 100ml of 5×Tris-glycine electrophoresis buffer, add distilled water or deionized water to make the volume up to 500ml and mix.
