Phosphate Buffered Saline (PBS) powder is a dehydrated raw material reagent intended to be used in the making of prepared wash buffer by reconstitution in distilled water. PBS is a commonly used buffer solution for biological research. It is a water-based salt solution that contains sodium chloride and Phosphate.
The PBS buffer helps maintain a constant pH value, and its osmotic pressure and ion concentration are usually close to the body'S pH (iso-osmoia). The pH value of this product is 7.2-7.4. Use double distilled water to dilute to 2000ml before use, and use as soon as possible after dissolution.
Features:
1. Convenient—Dissolve contents of one envelope in water and the buffer is ready to use
2. Safe—PBS powder is safe and non-toxic
3. Quality-controlled reagent — guarantees reproducible results
4. Shelf life—Have a longer shelf life when compared to the buffer solutions
